Server Database Creature Data

I notice a lot of creatures are represented in the stats with pretty low numbers.  I looked at one of my creatures graphs, and it said the poulation was exactly 6 for like 12 hours.  Apparently, when a peer drops off, the count stays the same.  I know when I restart my client that I get my old group of creatures back.  Isn't there some way creatures in limbo could NOT be counted.  It seems that a creature that would normally not survive, but that was swept away when a client closed, should not have its numbers in the stats list.

Creatures in limbo peers are dropped after 48 hours. This is a metric we computed because the Terrarium is a screen saver and it is the average amount of time a user would have between having the screen saver active/inactive.

The 48 hours was mainly arrived at for the weekend, since many users that played the Terrarium had laptops and couldn't play from home. When they got into work Monday morning they got right back on the network and were able to play with their existing creatures. In retrospect 72 hours might have been a better metric to account for long weekends ;-)
