We chose this concept for a "code off" based on previous experience of it. 

We downloaded the server and attempt to install it on 4 different machines all of which met the requirement + some. All of them recieved a file not found exception just when the second install package starts installing (just after the db stuff). 

I made a simple animal (based on the example) and tried to set it loose on the new 1.1 Version. I recieved a JIT debugger message just before the application crashed. 

Is there something I am doing wrong? 

Microsoft has STILL not released a working Terrarium client for the 1.1 framework.  I can't help you on the server install issue.
