Is there a way to track stats in a local terrarium? I am intereseted in trying some combinations of plants and critters in a controlled enviroment. It would be nice to get a breakdown of population over time and see charts. I looks like the servr provides this functionality. Do I hve to install the server to get it. 

It's a bit of work, but you can manage to track your population (bug, not plant) over time using a debugger and trace statements.
