Hi rarvesen,  look like you are the moderator of this forums.  I love your webpage.  They look very nice and informational (I like those flower pictures).

Anyway, I would like to ask is FotoVision is an ongoing project?  Any enhancement will be provided in the future?  I think it will be a very good idea if there is a specific site for this application, and people can submit their code to improve this program.  Of course, it would nice if the extra programs are user selectable, so user just need to download the parts they want, like plugins.

I do think this will make FotoVision more popular to use, and more stuff for user to learn to develop a better product.

In addition, the webpage administrator (or microsoft technican) can provide quiz or exercises or even competition periodically based on the FhotoVision (or probably some other technologies)  so user / developer can have more motivate to drive this application or even .NET technology.

I'm familiar with FotoVision and taking the time to respond to questions, but I'm not the moderator of the forum. Thanks for the comments on my own website. We live in the hills west of Austin (Central Texas) and I have been documenting all of the plants / flowers I find growing on the land. Along the way, I take photos of other things (like the <a href="http://lostsprings.com/photos.aspx?cat=Favorite&photo=P5280299">toad</a>).

I'm not sure at this time if FotoVision is an ongoing project, but I'll check and get back with you. I know I have a list of things I would like to see in FotoVision.

Hey your pictures, looks very professional.  I know this is out of the track but I just curious what brand and model of camera are you using?  Digital? Mechanical? Nikon D70?  Of course I am not questioning your photography skills.  Just curious.

what is the procedure if im planning to use fotovision application and mpdify the main functionalities of it and use it for commercial software? (libraries or someother components?)


is its commercial how much is the cost to acquire the components and libraries for commercial use?

im really keep in the download mechanism and the thumbnail generation of photos in the webserver and things like these...

and im not really sure in .NET Development so can u folks guide me in this???

what will take to use this application as a model and develope a customized application for pocketpc 2003?

Thanks for the kinds words on the photos. Most were taken with an Olympus 2020 digital camera, which is quite dated now. I have other photos taken with Canon Elan SLR camera (which I really liked), but I have never taken the time to scan the photos and put them on the site.
