I don't think there is a problem with TaskVision ...

I realize that some folks seem to have a problem with it .. but I installed and ran it in late April and it ran great on 1.0 (in VSN2002)  and .NET CE IPAQ (in VSN2003).

Today I reinstalled it on another machine that has 1.0 and VSN2002 and there were no problems (aside from having the manually set up the virtual directories becase I put it somewhere other than the installl default.

I have office, etc. installed on the system so excel is supported.

I am going to rebuild the VBN version in 2003 and then check the C# version ....

I can't understand what the panic is about .. except that maybe some folks have previously infected worm ridden systems that aren't Taskvision's fault ...

Heed the cry of the fans .... Bring us back our TaskVision !!!

I had an awful time with taskvision until I figured out that I had to enable anonymous access on my web server to host it locally.  I followed all of the instructions to the letter and this lettle gotcha was never mentioned.

Mike:

Do you know if TaskVision v.1.1.0.0 from http://microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=53C3B52C-0544-4A03-A79B-ECE6D500B8A7&displaylang=en is a new SAFE version of TaskVision ?

I hope fkxfkx did not install it on the framework 1.1 :)
any apologies are excepted and expected from him regarding "worm ridden systems".
think twice, talk once!
