How to Create Simple MDI Forms

I came accross MDI Forms in a book but it provided litle details. The resources I saw on the web are not clear enough. I want a simple step-by-step guide to creating an MDI user interface. The GUI should demonstrate how to useMenuStrips, ToolStrip, Panel Control, SplitContainer,TabControl and TableLayOut Controls.

A simple interactive sample with code snippets will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sylva.

Hi Sylvia,

The best is to find example code on the web and to gradually take it step by step.

I would suggest starting with the menu then the toolbar and as your needs arise the other topics.

The Code Project is a good resource for code examples and here are is an article I just found that may get you started:

Introduction to MDI Forms with C#http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/mdiformstutorial.aspx
