How did they do that?

I realize that the code for the Terrarium client will likely never be released, but does anyone have any insight as to how they made the UI look so neat?  For example, is there an easy way to make my buttons have that cool style or is that simply a custom control that uses images, events, etc., to make it look that way?

As you can probably tell, I'm relatively new to the Forms site of .NET.

Thanks,
- Kevin

They use Direct X to draw everything.  And, the code is supposed to be released "soon" (interpret "soon" as sometime, maybe, if they ever get around to it).

The controls are done in WinForms.  The game world is done via DirectDraw.  "Soon" will be Tech-Ed 2004.
