I have installed the old terrarium for .Net framework version 1.0. I have both version 1.0 and 1.1 of the .Net framework installed. I still don't seem to be able to receive creatures in ecosystem mode, but thats a different issue.

I can now run in local terrarium mode, and I can introduce animals from the server just fine. However when I try to make my own bug I get "Your organism VBCreatures.BugZilla could not be found in the assembly. Please make sure the class exists". I simply copied and pasted the VB example basic herbivore code, I just changed the bug name. I have the organismbase referenced. I have also tried removing all the system references and adding them back specifically locating the 1.0 framework references, but I still always get this message.

Any ideas?

Just to update, if I do the same process but use the C# version of the same sample, I do not get this error and it works fine. I will use C# for now, but I would like to be able to do this in VB.Net, so if anyone knows why I am having this error I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

I think that there was an entry in the FAQ about clearing the namespace when using VB.Net.  You may want to check there.
