Getting error when trying to introduce new animal

Hi all...

Just getting started, and it's not going well.  Trying to do the sample creature in Terrarium mode, but if I try to introduce either my creature or one from the server I get a stack overflow error :-(

What gives?

Sounds like you don't have the 1.0 .Net framework installed?

You're right, of course.  I have now (re)installed the 1.0 Framework, and just installing the 1.0 SDK *sigh*.

Now, if I can just figure out why I can't connect to a server...

You probably can connect to the server.  Ignore the error message and try to "reintroduce" and extinct animal.  If you can get a list of animals from the server, you are connected.

I get the Same error!!!!!
I use .net SDK 1.1

The new version of the Terrarium client does not work.  Until Microsoft gets it fixed, use the 1.0.21.xxx version (available on the Terrarium home page).  This version needs the 1.0 .Net framework to run.  (Don't worry, you can have both 1.0 and 1.1 installed at the same time.)  Then, when you compile your bugs, make sure that they reference the 1.0 framework library and not 1.1.  Good luck!
