i've just (quite) finished a little mod on fotovision. I've added the possibility to use accounts to access different website.

It's now possibile to manage more that one website. So, let's say you have www.yourisite.com/friends and www.yoursite.com/parents. Now you can manage uploaded albums and photos for these sites without any kind of problem. If you have tried to do this with the official Fotovision realease you would have discovered that you cannot say in which site an album must be uploaded and in which not.

With my mod you can set you two different accounts, let's say Friends and Parents, and upload the desired albums to one or to another, without having fotovision making fuss with the photos.

Yes I'm interested..

I'm looking into the reverse.. Having multi people edit the same Foto Site. I'd like them only to be able to edit the Pix they uploaded...

Yes I can!

I've uploaded the modded source right into my website (www.davidemauri.it), so you can download it right from there.

As said before the mod is not yet 100% complete, and the account management form is still missing, so to add new accounts you have to do it manully right from the "accounts.xml" file.
You can found this file into the "Application Data" directory, which, for me, is "c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\FotoVision".

The functionaly to change account is working at 100% anyway. You can access to the "change account form" by click on the (new) first icon from the left, or by using the "Tool" menu.

i have an idea on the foto vision application.

which is 

"Maitaining different profiles for different user."

suppose "XYZ" logs on,he should access for this own preferences.

how to make this? any logical ideas from your side?

also how to change JPEG files to WMV???yes i want to make it a video based application


..in struck in this... couldnt proceed on that further

That's what I've done, if I understand correctly your needs.

For what concern WMV I really doesn't know how to handle them, but I can suppose that you should rewrite a lot of code.

one more question..

can we have the same (exactly) functionalities of fotovision in an eVC++ application???


like accessing the Webserver (XML stuffs,etc) in a same way in eVC++ application too?

in case of yes how to do it?

any ideas from u folks?
