VS.net costs $500.  C# Express costs $0.  But I'm thinking perhaps it doesn't work; here's the problem I'm getting.

I copy the simple plant tutorial into the compiler, add the two references, then when I try to build it gives me errors "perhaps you are missing a reference file?"  Well, I added the exact references it 'refered' to in the tutorial, so anyone know whats going on?  Does Express just not work?

Help Pls?!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but C# Express won't work because it uses a later version of the .Net environment.
