I would like to try this out but having difficulties installing. It gives me an error saying that I need DirectX 7.0 installed. I have DirectX 9.0b. Anybody know why or how to get past this error?

What OS are you running? Are you running as Admin? The DX 7.0 check just looks for a registry entry, so after you give me these details, we can dive a bit farther into it. |

Windows XP Pro. Yes I'm running as Admin. And to give you even more info below is a link to the DirectX Diagnostic File that gives info on the system, vid card, and of course DirectX.

I tried installing 1.0.25.300 client and get same error as below

You have to have Dx7vb.dll registered on your machine. Sometimes this is not registered by default. This is covered in the FAQ. |

I have the same problem with a different program, the program requires the file DX7VB.DLL to be registered the only problem isI don't have the file but I have Direct X 9, so how do you get the file?
