Hi guys

I am having difficulty in testing anything in the live eco system. Naka has managed to write some pretty nifty code to keep us noobs down and out ;)

Is there some way of clearing all the organisms cached locally and rejoining the eco system so that one's critters stand a chance of surviving for a few minutes before they are killed?

There is no point in creating a super critter, intruducing 10 of them facing 200 others. They obviously dont stand a chance unless you can get the odds up.

Yes it is possible to clean out your local population, but that is really a form of cheating (stats manipulation).  Instead, practice your creatures in offline Terrarium mode, or point the client at the Training server to get practice in a controlled environment.

Basically deleting your local game state means reassigning your Guid as talked about in the above article. This constitutes a 12 hour reporting ban, so you won't even be able to see your statistics globally for that amount of time. This particular type of attack was so prominent early on that several levels of consistency checking and throttling were added just to prevent it.
