Probably a simple answer, but I just loaded VS.NET2003, and opened a sample applicaiton with 3 items in a preloaded in dropdown combo list box. when I click on the dropdown, the preloaded entries are invisible???? when I click on one it displays in the selected box????  I tried a simple list box with 5 preloaded values and I can tell they are entries but are invisible.... I even checked to see if the background foreground colors got change to the same..... I tried labels and they are fine....????...???
