how can use a dynamic diagram to show the data transfer?

hi

there is a windows form ,which is related to a FTP site and it downloads and uploads files to the FTP site.
is it possible to see the functionality of that program , using dynamic diagrams?
or something that show to user , the rate of transfering data .
