In the absence of a thread on the visual studio's ide, i post my question here . In the studio's help I couldn't find how I can delete listing of a project from the ide's start page. Fact is when one wants to view sample projects in visual studio, if one doesn't close the copy prior to the main projects activation, the sample project end up listed in the ide's start page prior to the main project. Although the main project gets modified on a daily basis, those modifications are not recognized by the start-pages "modificator". Henche my main projects sinks to the end of the listed projects, and projects I needed/wanted to view only a few times, just to get the idea ends up at the top of the listing.
Does anyone know how I can delete projects from the visual studio's ide startpage or change the listed order?
to the Project Team, might more maintanance options be built in the ide, such as deleting one time only search/replace items, in case these already exists perhaps some alterations onto the help-system such that these can be more easily found. In case of the above mentioned start page issues perhaps adding a project delete button, be aware though only deletions from that start page and NOT from the hard drive, on some future date one might want to acces a given sample once more.
I simply want my main project to remain on top of the start-page listing, and be able to delete one-time viewed projects |
