OCR Component

Hi all,
I've got a question about OCR, I need to do a project scaning in survey and put that to the SQL Server DB, which I'll need to create a VB.Net front end to see what is scaned and processed (just like a business card scanner), so justing is there any OCR component that I can use for the .Net that can do the job? or is there any other software that I can look into?
