Not sure if this is the right spot, but here it is.

I'm not downing windows, I LOVE WINDOWS, but what I dont get is, when i use a different OS, with the exact same wallpaper, (I have it on a CD), the wallpaper in ubuntu AND mac look SO MUCH MORE VIVID, especially with Ubuntu. Mac makes it look kinda sharper, and yes I'm using the same monitor with a DVI to HDMI converter, and it seems like Windows kinda merges pixels together, I'm thinking it could be the drivers for the OS but I'm not sure. I have an ATI Radeon 4850, and I"m using Windows 7, which... looks strangly more vivid then Vista. I know it sounds funny but I'm telling the truth O.o

My request is, try and obtain the max quality if you can, because I enjoy playing games in HD.


And another thing, on the exact same TV, (Not sure if this is because of the converter or because of the systems), but my friends PS3, he used my same wallpaper and it looked better then all 3 of the OS's O.o
