Registry XP

My friend went into my registry (something he discovered his Microsoft class) and deleted some .exe and .dll files. Now when I run cmd it says can't find program. When I try to run regedt or regedt32.exe it says program not found. I can not run any messengers but my internet seems to be working fine. I also can not access system restore or even view system info please help.

My guess is that you need to first give your friend an evil look, and then get out your Windows disk and put it in, and do a Repair on Windows. If you're lucky, this will work.

Also, it's not regedt, it's regedit.

And third, this is a forum about setup & deployment of .NET applications, not about Windows problems. If you have more of those, I would recommend posting them here:

Good luck. And don't ever let your friend near your keyboard again. ;-)
