Installation Icon in task bar

Hi All,

I am currently using ClickOnce deployment to install my application to client machines. My testing team have reported a bug where the icon shown in the task bar during the installation process shows as the unknown file type icon.

Does anyone know of a way to have my applications .ico file appear in here?

Thanks

That is part of the ClickOnce installation, and not something you can customize. What makes you think it means "unknown file type" ? It has dots or something in it, it's not the same one you get in Windows Explorer when it really doesn't know the file type.

Hi Dave,

I always thought *this* is the unknown file type. I think the one you've depicted is a "general utility" icon.

Either way, there's nothing you can do about it; it's not customizable with ClickOnce.
