Hi Bluelightning2000,

Did you raise the AssemblyVersion and AssemblyFileVersion in your project. If the version number does not be raised, the newly assembly file won't be updated to your old application folder.

Sincerely,
Kira Qian

Thank you for your post what you provided is great information I had not scene yet.

But, I am looking for some information about the use of Microsofts Systems Management Server to deploy the package to multiple users, on multiple clients, and what properties should and should not be set before building the Deployment Project in Visual Studio 2008.

-thx

May be you should try third-party software such as setup factory or open source software. Inno setup is free installer maker, i never use it but based on what i read, it worth a try and you can download it at Inno setup website

Any error messages? Anything at all from SMS? A log?In general MSI deployment from SMS works fine, so without more info it's impossible to say. Are you assigning to the machine? Publishing to the user?

Thank you, this was the piece I was missing in the deployment of the package.

In response to your message about not responding, I had checked the box
