Microsoft does not offer a download of the Office 2000 PIAs. (They don't even offer the PIAs at all - they just offer instructions on how to create them).

So I would like to create a small program that tests if the PIAs are needed (Word 200 is installed, then PIAs are not in the GAC) that is put in the bootstrapper setup.exe. And create an installer for the PIAs that can be downloaded as needed.

Are there instructions anywhere on how to do this?
