Hi,
I have created an application with Microsoft sqlserver 2008 Express edition. I want to deploy this application and so i need to create a custom 'SMExpress' instance in the remote machine because i am using this instance. How can i create the setup with custom instance in the remote machine? Please give a detailed description.

Hi Sujith CK,

You can set sql server express as prerequisite so it will be install to your users computer but you cannot create instance to the remote pc during installation. Why not create the instance on the remote pc and let your user connect to that? You can let your user choose which sql server instance they want to connect at the first run not during the installation.
