I have uploadednew versions of my application with ftp to my website. I noticed that older versions stil remain on that server.

now the downloadfolder looks like this:

Can I remove the previous versions of my app from the download-folder.

The previous versions remain in the publish location for the user to restore to previous version of the ClickOnce application. You can remove the previous version of the ClickOnce application from the publish location manually, but that will prevent the user from restoring to the previous version.

Your customer can only revert one version, so if you remove all but the last two versions, you will be fine.
