Can anyone describe or explain what a ClickOnce application is doing initially after the "Launching Application" dialog appears...our clickOnce application seems to stay on the download screen and say Downloading 0 or 0 bytes for a long time (maybe 30-45 seconds) and then it kicks and starts to download?

Related to this, does anyone have any statistics or best practices in terms of number of recommend files in a ClickOnce deployment? Is there a maximum recommendation? We have about 1000 files (or 100 MB) and wonderinf if we are pushing its limitations.
