I have a weird scenario in one of my clients.

When I open the application there is an exception, see details in the end.

Then I close that window, and openthe application againthis time the application is loaded with no exception.

Do you have any Idea.

Doesn't look like anyone was able to help you.... I'm not going to be a great help either as I am trying to troubleshoot a similar problem. I've been throwing information into the following post:

Basically, the problem is more than likely occuring on the 2nd update to your app, which is why one client seems to be running ok and you are not... you may have gotten more updates. ClickOnce leaves 2 versions of the application on your machine for rollback purposes. So, first install, no problem (that's version 'A'), first update no problem (that's version 'B'). During the second update, clickonce tries to uninstall version 'A' after install of version 'C', and this is where your error is occurring. My problem occurs in the "manifests' folder of my ClickOnce directory.

The way I look at it, the more minds work on this one the better.... there needs to be a better way to troubleshoot clickonce. I'm hoping some tools shipping with Vista will help.
